With re-issues of lines such as the Monaco, it was only a matter of time before this side-sided square watch Love Bracelet got a modern treatment. It is not a re-release as the watch has been updated and modernized, and it is not a retro inspired as it is closer to a re-issue being very accurate to the original. The ScubaTec is more simple of course, but that is sort of the point. The most important elements of the upgrade are the bracelet's profile and ability to be micro-adjusted. More on that in a second. It is pretty neat.At 47mm wide the case is respectable in stature and made from mostly titanium.Cartier and Cartier make the other ones.Legibility and wearing comfort are overall good with the Stirrup. While the design unorthodox, it isn't too avant garde. The entire system is polished, intuitive, and overall well-engineered. Even if you don't have much use for it, you have to give a thumbs up to its existence.The rubber strap is simple and satisfying.It hampers legibility just a little bit because it actually prevents some light from entering the dial to charge the lume. It is a small price to pay for the aesthetic in my opinion. If you don't want the red crystal, it certainly isn't required.It feels nicer in your hand than what you might think from the pictures.
