V.I.O. shifts camera production to Kimball

JASPER Hats, Ind. Men, April 15 (UPI) -- U.S. company V.I.O. Inc. has contracted Kimball Electronics Group Inc. to support the production of wearable digital camera technologies. Electronic manufacturing-services company Kimball was contracted by V.I.O. to produce the Point Of View wearable digital camera systems. The POV cameras were developed by V.I.O. to support military and public-safety applications Ray ban, among other uses. V.I.O. awarded U.S. company Kimball the POV camera-production contract after concerns were raised about the former POV manufacturer based in China. "V.I.O. is moving production of this product from China Jewellery, citing quality and communication concerns zenid=i2ee2e09mleg3il33s48mh4k62, and awarding the business to Kimball Ray Ban Lunette 8305," a news release said. Kimball officials said the POV production will take place at its California and Indiana facilities.Related articles：
