Hundreds of homes and businesses in Scotts Valley have been dark since Wednesday after a transmission line in a remote forested area near Castle Rock State Park was destroyed. Customers in Boulder Creek,Monster Beats Solo, Bonny Doon,Lady GaGa Heartbeats, Watsonville,Beats By Dr Dre Tour, Corralitos and Freedom were also without power.
