ATHENS, Ala.
, May 24 (UPI) -- An Alabama woman who found her husband in the arms of another woman faces domestic violence charges after allegedly striking them both with a can of bug spray.
Athens (Ala.) Police Capt. Marty Bruce told the Athens News-Courier Cornelia Smith, 26, was arrested after an altercation in the family home Friday night.
"She came in and caught her husband with another woman and she grabbed a can of Raid and went at it
," Bruce said. "She hit the husband in the back of the head with it and then turned on the woman and also hit her in the head."
Both people suffered cuts to the head but only the unidentified woman required medical attention
, the newspaper said.
