Lenovo has introduced a 5-inch Smartphone and a 7 inch Tablet PC with Android operating system on the international Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin. With both devices seems to borrow it on Google and compete directly with this: the Tablet S5000 occupied the price point of the nexus 7, the magnitude of which also has it, with 199 euros and the Smartphone vibe X will exhibit not only the diagonal size of the planned nexus 5 with 5 inch, it reminds by its name strongly to the Moto X of the Google subsidiary, Motorola.
The 7-inch Tablet Lenovo S5000 runs on Android 4.2. It will be available so somewhat cheaper than the second edition of the nexus 7 in December for $199 -. But it has also the lower resolution with 1280 times 800 pixels. But scores of IPS screen with 360 nit brightness. The Lenovo Tablet weighs only 245 grams.
The quad-core processor with 1.2 GHz in the UMTS model (249 euros in Germany) is a MediaTek 8389; the Wi-Fi model is confined to a MediaTek 8125. A radio chip for Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB port, accelerometer, GPS, 5-megapixel rear camera into the case also 1 GB RAM, and frontal-a 1.6 megapixel camera. Lenovo promises up to 8 hours battery life at 3200 mAh capacity. Of memory, 16 GB available will be available.
However, the Smartphone Lenovo vibe X is another Smartphone with a 1080 p resolution on a 5-inch screen. The density is 440 pixels per inch. The display is protected by Gorilla glass 3. The vibe X builds 6.9 mm high and weighs 121 grams. Also the high camera resolutions are striking: 13 megapixel back, 5 megapixel on the front.
As a processor, there is a MTK-6589T with four cores and 1.5 GHz clock. The RAM measures 2 GByte, the OS, apps and data store is 16 GB big. IFA visitors report but delayed reactions of the issued equipment despite high-end equipment. Possibly, these problems to the launch but will be gone, who will be in China in October and in India in December. There are not a price so far.
