The Android tablet from Asus Memo Pad FHD 10 with Miracast support can be pre-ordered now in Germany for 350 Euros. The tablet uses a low power Intel processor.
The introduced at Computex 2013 Memo Pad from Asus FHD 10 is now available in Germany. The tablet is expected to ship in July, but can be pre-ordered for 350 euros since today.
The 10.1 inch display of the memo pad FHD 10 has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, which gives a pixel density of 224 ppi. The Nexus 10 has compared 298 ppi, the iPad 4 263 ppi. The viewing angle of memo pads is 178 degrees, according to Asus.
Power-saving Intel processor
Inside the tablet(HYUNDAI Tablet PC), a SoC (System on a Chip) Intel works. The Atom Z2560 is a dual-core processor, which thanks to the Hyper-Threading technology as a four-core chip works. The processor controls the power consumption in standby mode down to a minimum, which in normal use, resulting in a longer battery life throughout the day.
The amount of memory is 2 GB, the built-in flash memory is 32 GB in size. A slot for micro-SD card is available, also available to the user unlimited 5 GB in Asus' own cloud service Webstorage available.
Miracast and 5-megapixel camera
WLAN supports the memo pad FHD 10 for 802.11a/b/g/n at both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies. According Techstage.de an LTE version is planned. Bluetooth runs in version 3.0, a GPS-/Glonass-Modul is installed.
