NEW YORK, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Final talks are under way for Alec Baldwin to join the comedy Tina Fey is creating and starring in for NBC, it was reported Friday.
The yet-untitled project is set behind the scenes of a "Saturday Night Live" kind of show

Fey is head writer for "Saturday Night Live" as well as its parody news anchor. Baldwin has been a frequent "SNL" host as well, The Reporter noted.
If Baldwin does sign with Fey's show

Baldwin has two films coming out in the near future
